Day 1 of this course is on BUILDING EFFECTIVE TEACHER TEAMS and Day 2 will be on USING A DATA PROTOCOL. The content of these two days will give the participants strategies and activities to increase the effectiveness of their learning teams (grade level or subject area). The first day will focus on good teaming – writing norms, working agendas, staying on task. Team to Teach book with lots of great activities to help team leaders will be included. Day 2 of this course will present a data protocol proven to be effective with teacher teams. Following the protocol allows teams to analyze student data and make instructional plans all in a 45 minutes team meeting. Participants will practice the protocol. Follow up day in October will be discussed. Free for Lee/Ogle SIP members; $200 for Non-members.
