Foods, Feasts, Fun and …. Language Arts
Integration of language arts, reading and math into your social science curriculum can be fun and “fruitful”! Join Glen and Linda Weatherwax as they show how food, geography and a study of other cultures can be used in a social science curriculum designed to address learning standards in language arts and math. Focus will be on using fiction and non-fiction books along with maps and other printed materials. In fact, you'll leave this two – day course with a multitude of materials, ideas, and proven lesson plans to take back to your own classroom ready to use! $60 for Lee/Ogle SIP Co-op Members; $150 for non-members.
