Gifted Education Seminar -New Statewide Initiative Using Technology
Be one of the 10% of Illinois teachers trained in the new Gifted Education Seminar this summer. The course is completely updated and includes all kinds of new information, research and activities. The course is delivered partially face-to-face and partially on computer in a new format for teacher workshops! Topics included: Identifying and Knowing the Gifted Child, along with a large unit on Differentiating your Classroom for all students. Participants will gain a knowledge base on how to “extend the learning for those who have mastered the curriculum” (PLC Question #4) in our classrooms every day! $200 fee for all Lee/Ogle School participants -- will be returned if course is completed;
$375 non Lee/Ogle Schools.
