Time Saving Literacy Camp
This summer dig in and really learn how to integrate technology across the curriculum. This action packed five-day class is based on best practice designed to empower teachers with new skills to increase student achievement. With literacy as a focus, technology will be infused across the curriculum as a tool for teaching and learning including: Information Literacy, Geographic Literacy, Scientific Literacy, Mathematics Literacy, and Technology Literacy
Some of the topics will be: Laptops in the classroom, exploring & developing WebQuests, search AND find--advanced searching on the Internet, information literacy,digital images across the curriculum, creating a personal digital filing cabinet & electronic portfolios, Internet resources for your digital filing cabinet, publishing globally, adapting curriculum for Special Education students, classroom Management & Technology, GPS and GIS in the Classroom, curriculum mapping, aligning to the Illinois Learning Standards. $150.00 for Lee/Ogle SIP Coop members; $375 for non-members.
