Intervention Connections for Pre-K, Kindergarten and Special Education
Come and spend the week learning about and sharing interventions used in the classroom. Participants will learn about the Intervention pyramid as well as tiered interventions. Discussions about and resources for student individual needs (such as English Language Learners) will be emphasized. This course is designed to be a sharing of ideas and materials. Be prepared to share the interventions you are using and learn about new ones. Math, Literacy, Writing, and Social Skills interventions will be covered. Several make and take activities will be included. Participants will leave with an extensive intervention resource kit for pre-K and K that will be compiled by the class. $200 fee for all Lee/Ogle School participants -- will be returned if course is completed; $375 non Lee/Ogle Schools. REPEAT FROM SUMMER 2009.
